One Chord To Another www.onechord.net The new single from Cheerleaders United contains one new original (the title track Resurrection Street) and a cover of Dream Syndicate's Loving The Sinner, Hating The Sin. The first one is really good dramatic pop song with a killer chorus that adds another gear to it. Timo Ranta's wonderful singing is a strong backbone and guest stars Huuki and Jaakko add heavenly flavours to the chorus with their backing vocals. But this time the cover beats the original. Steve Wynn's Loving the Sinner, Hating The Sin gets a proper treatment. The indie veterans have certainly not lost their touch. Guitars sound awesome whether they are just carrying the melody or storming through your head with controlled power. The masters of melancholic pop music are still convincing. Resurrection Street single is another great addition to their catalog. 4/5 Resurrection Street
